New Intuitive Eating Program Launching!

I’ve been where you are, and helped other people to move through this phase to rediscover their intuitive eater. I stumbled across intuitive eating by accident, at one of the lowest points in my dieting, where I was following a very restrictive (and expensive!) program, but then binging on so-called “cheat days”. I was sick to death of counting carrots and almonds and feeling deprived, but I still couldn't bear the idea of doing something that might lead to weight gain. If this cycle sounds familiar, I want to help you.

 

One of my intuitive eating clients recently shared what a relief it was to be able to go out to eat without researching the menu before going. Another was astounded to discover that when she tried one of her old trigger foods, she didn’t even like it that much, and it didn’t need to have such a profound hold over her. Still another shared with great delight how separating movement from food enabled her to eat before an intense workout, which in turn made the workout go better. Previously she would have thought of eating before as “canceling out” the workout.

The Side of Fries

This is a stand-alone, self-paced intuitive eating course. It was designed for each module to take about a week, but you can work through it at any pace that feels good for you. You’ll get access to videos, audio, PDFs, and a ton of other materials so you can have structured guidance working through the principles of intuitive eating. This program will help you discover your intuitive eating in a semi-supported environment.

The Burger & Fries

You’ll get the course, plus 12 weekly coaching meetings with me and Nadia Livesay, an anti-diet dietitian. During each call, we’ll talk about one specific intuitive eating principle, then we’ll have some time for open Q&A so that you can get the support of both a community and professionals who guide and support you in your anti-diet journey with tangible, actionable strategies. Diving into an anti-diet way of life can feel scary, and having support is key. Bad advice and well-intended but over simplified advice abounds on the internet, so having professional support to help with a nuanced take on our individual situation can help you be more successful in your intuitive eating journey!

The Three Course Meal

With this option you get everything in the Burger & Fries plus two one-on-one coaching sessions with Jess. During these sessions, we can talk through your specific barriers to intuitive eating, whether they’re body image related, trauma related, or difficulties in your relationship with movement. These are NOT therapy sessions, but are coaching, so we’ll focus on a specific struggle of your choosing and discuss some specific strategies to work with it.

You deserve to enjoy eating. You deserve to feel at home in your body and to eat enough to sustain yourself. If you’re ready to embark on this journey, we start in September (of 2023). The first step is to book a call with me. I’m a very low pressure salesperson, so don’t expect a bunch of aggressive tactics from me. Instead, we’ll talk a little bit about where you are and where you’d like to be, and decide whether this is a good fit for you. 

 

A note about pricing: Y’all, I struggled with whether to put the prices out there for this, and ultimately decided not to. We’ll talk pricing on the call. I am confident we can find an option that is workable for you, and I’ve partnered with Affirm to be able to offer you a payment plan.

What exactly do I get in this program?

We've shared about what to expect in working through this program, but I want to share what exactly you'll receive.

The Side of Fries

Unlimited access to the Enlighten Well signature intuitive eating online course AND community. Both are accessible via this site OR the Fit by Wix app. While the course is designed to take about twelve weeks, you don't need to rush, because you'll retain access to the course. This includes audio mindfulness exercises, dozens of PDFs that you can print or download and save for later use, as well as educational videos, to support a variety of learning styles. This program was created to coach you through all the common challenges of intuitive eating and help you get a good base to work from.

The Burger and Fries

You'll get everything in the course mentioned above, PLUS  twelve weekly coaching sessions where we'll present briefly, and then have time for open Q&A. There's nothing quite like having the support of a community on this journey, and knowing that we're all in this together. The live sessions will meet on Wednesdays at 4pm Pacific/7pm Eastern. We will record the presentation but not the Q&A out of respect for everyone's privacy.
