8 Week Body Positive Bootcamp
Eight weeks starting January 1 of workouts, journaling assignments to work on your relationship with your body, and gentle nutrition tips.
The new year is coming, and with it comes the onslaught of weight loss programs and ads, cleanses promising quick weight loss, shakes, pills, and every other thing you can imagine, promising quick results. You don't have to buy into it. I have an alternative.
We'll spend eight weeks working on incorporating regular movement, gentle nutrition, and body image exercises. You'll get three workouts to do on your own each week, plus access to all of my classes. If you want to incorporate other classes or workouts on your own, I can help you figure out how to put it together. All challenge members will be together in a Slack team (it's similar to a Facebook group, but not on Facebook). There, we can support each other and troubleshoot through the eight weeks. The focus isn't on losing weight, but on engaging in behaviors that help you feel your best and maximize your health. Each week has a gentle nutrition challenge. We'll work on eating in ways that support your health, but no deprivation. I won't be telling you what to eat!
What you get:
One self directed HIIT/MIIT (high or medium intensity interval training) workout each week
Two self directed strength workouts each week
Availability to join Jess's virtual classes, minimum of two per week available
One journaling assignment per week about your relationship with your body
One mental skill challenge per week
One gentle nutrition challenge per week
Access to Slack group for continuous support throughout the eight weeks. Get form checks on your self directed workouts, get support through the various challenges.
Diets don't work. You don't have to keep putting yourself through the wringer. You can feel stronger & healthier, and have a better relationship with your body.
